First placement out of three years confirmed. Makes everything feel very real, a little anxious but excited to see what the role brings.
Thank you very much to Plymouth placement team for arranging this.

Completed my final module on WeLearn. WeLearn has given me the confidence to tweet and be professional on digital platforms, allowing me to keep in date with NMC code. I will continue to use this information to aid my learning. #PUNC22
Some information about type 2 and pre-diabetics " 5 out of every 100 people got diabetes over the follow up period of the studies. In the ‘keep calm and carry on’ group 26 out of every 100 people with prediabetes went on to develop type 2 diabetes". #PUNC22
Facebook can be such an easy way to share information due to the number of participants. It is important within the Nursing development to keep up to date with the NMC code and the trust's code around facebook. #PUNC22
Moderate to serve mid-life anxiety maybe linked to later life dementia, very interesting blog
"Only four out of more than 3500 studies met these criteria, but they involved a total of nearly 30,000 people." BMJ, (2018) This has good research into potential diagnosis of dementia.
Ferguson (2013):
"social media offer nursing many opportunities, which must be explored further to allow for advancement in the profession. Acknowledging, yet managing risk is critical in health care and social media are no exception."
We need to accept social media #Punc22
