My only real hot horror take is that Scream is overrated, but as I haven't watched past part 4 and haven't seen any of them in at least a decade I will give them another chance.

@SavageLucy42 I got to meet the guy who plays Bob in Halloween a few years ago and he told me that there’s some years where he makes more money in residuals from the Halloween footage in Scream than he does from Halloween.

They talk about Jamie Lee Curtis a lot on Scream, but she's not even in that many horror movies. Like Halloween (iconic) and Prom Night (sort of iconic) and...??? At the time???

@SavageLucy42 I also worked at a theater when it came out, so got to see it the day before it came out. There were absolutely no spoilers floating around at the time.

@punchbuggyblues Yeah I did not suspect two killers, so they got me. And you're right Henry Winkler was a good red herring. He had some weird mannerisms and then cancelled classes for the day.

@SavageLucy42 I very briefly thought it was Henry Winkler when I saw it back in 1996. At the time the big shocker was there being two killers.
