Indians, are quick to rant about visa hassles and rude immigration officers abroad, but let’s fix our own backyard! My wife is American, and we’re hosting 100+ international guests in India. The e-Visa process is a nightmare, confusing forms, random rejections, and delays that cost one couple their flight. Christelle, faced an immigration officer at CCU airport who demanded a printed digital arrival card, why?! He complained about typing it and barely spoke English, leaving her frustrated. With 100+ guests, we’ve seen endless issues: unclear rules, untrained staff. India’s tourism and forex potential is huge, but this drives visitors away. @MEAIndia, @tourismgoi, @incredibleindia, streamline e-Visas, train officers to communicate, and go fully digital.
