@cutieful_hill ask to be voted for things they really care about. it shows a level of dedication on its own to sit down and think about what you wanna be nominated for. it’s not that serious either way, but I wanted to put my two cents in 🤷🤷

@cutieful_hill fan 1 is gonna feel a little wronged if fan 2 wins because fan 2 doesn’t post about their interest + asks to be nominated for 10 other awards. Yk. its gonna look like a popularity contest. limiting the amount of self nominations narrows it down and makes it so people only-

@cutieful_hill yeah definitely!!! I understand this is a new thing for everyone and I am not at all mad at the admins. I just think for the future there are a lot of things that can be improved upon. a self-vote cap would at least restrict the amount of categories big accounts can win over #imo

@puppymitsu honestly tho, the mods r just 2 ppl (uni student too) and cant add more or less for the categories, and cant really go back and restrict the ppl as its already close to the finals. if this were to happen again tho, im sure there could be some chages to improve on

@cutieful_hill for, meanwhile a lot of the people I know are extremely passionate and vocal about said interests. i think establishing a self-vote cap could help prevent this a little more. I understand your point though and I shouldn’t assume they‘re nominating themselves mindlessly lol

@cutieful_hill OOOH OKAY I get you. I see your point, I shouldn’t assume. It’s just frustrating to see friends of mine be bummed out because people who nominated themselves for tons of awards are sweeping them when a lot of these accounts hardly post about said things they nominate themselves-

@cutieful_hill categories who are passionate about EVERYTHING they’re nominating themselves for. but at some point there’s gotta be some consideration towards the fact that there is a chance bigger accounts can just win everything if they ask their followers to vote for them in everything

@cutieful_hill people who are undeniably passionate about this kinda stuff. I’ve seen stuff like this happen many-a-time and its always a bit of a mood killer when all the awards get won by one person with a bunch of followers. not saying there aren’t people nominating themselves for multiple-

@alfiekate120 after posting it I realized my post kinda sounded mean but #ohwell. I just want everyone to have a fair chance because I’ve played these games before and watching fan polls get turned into popularity contests makes me sad
