The Ganpati festival attendees plan on immersing a 18 Foot Statue of Ganesh into the Credit River. We cannot allow these Indian Invaders to destroy this fragile ecosystem that salmon rely on for survival.

Orcas are giving humans gifts and waiting to see what we’ll do. They've been giving us dead seabirds, fish and even seal pups. Over two decades, scientists documented 54 cases of wild killer whales presenting food to humans. Sometimes they placed it beside boats or dropped it near underwater cameras. Other times they surfaced with prey in their mouths, only to release it right in front of researchers. In many cases, they seemed to pause – watching, waiting for a response. Some scientists think orcas may be testing human responses – studying us the way they study each other. Others see it as cross-species curiosity, or perhaps an echo of social rituals found in dolphins and other intelligent animals.

Give A Shit About Nature

Bats aren't scary. Losing bats is scary. They pollinate hundreds of plants, eat massive numbers of crop pests and mosquitoes, and save farmers billions by reducing insect damage and pesticide use. 90% of North American bat species have experienced population decline in the last 15 years. One bat can do more for your yard in a night than a bottle of bug spray ever will. Put up a bat house. Skip pesticides. Plant native night-blooming flowers. Leave old trees and snags standing when it's safe. Keep cats indoors. A healthy yard has more than birds and butterflies. It has bats, too.

Hundreds of “penis fish” have washed up on beaches in Argentina The incident was reported by Need To Know. The mass appearance of marine creatures on the coast was caused by a strong storm. “Penis fish,” or spoon worms of the species Urechis unicinctus, are named purely for their distinctive shape, which visually resembles a human penis. They usually live on the seabed, digging deep burrows. Their appearance in Argentina was unexpected, as the species is mainly found in the Pacific Ocean, especially around China. In East Asia, these worms are considered a delicacy and are eaten raw. Alongside them, a sea mouse — Aphrodita aculeata — also washed up on shore, a strange polychaete worm.
