18-year-old Narendra Kumar from Uttar Pradesh, India, was rushed to the hospital suffering from severe weight loss, chronic stomach pain, and vomiting. During surgery, doctors were stunned to discover a rare parasitic twin, a fully formed but undeveloped fetus complete with hair, teeth, and bones, living inside his abdomen. The parasitic twin had been growing inside him for 18 years, sustained by his blood supply after being absorbed during early pregnancy. This extremely rare condition, known as fetus in fetu, occurs when one twin fails to fully develop and instead lives as a parasite within the other. The 2.5 kg mass was successfully removed, finally relieving Narendra of his long-term symptoms.
