🎬 Today, while watching the Busan concert in theaters, I experienced something that left me disappointed 😔 and honestly concerned 💭.
A few rows behind me were two girls, probably around 13–15 years old 👧👧, talking about a topic involving Jimin 💜. One of them kept insisting:
🗣️ "Trust me, this is how it happened. Look at this video."
Since I'm a 100% Jimin fan 🐥💜 and always try to stay informed about anything related to him, I politely asked her mom if I could see the video. The moment she showed it to me, I recognized it for what it was:
✂️ An edited clip. 📱 Taken out of context. ❌ Not the full story.
With all the respect in the world, I told her:
💜 "Sweetheart, that's not what actually happened."
I then pulled up the original video and showed the full context 🎥🔍. The girls leaned in, curious to watch and understand.
But what shocked me wasn't the edit...
😞 It was the reaction of the adult.
Her mother insisted that the edited clip and the original video were the same thing. When I tried to show the complete version, she moved the girls away and wouldn't let them watch it.
And that's when it hit me... 💔
⚠️ Sometimes people don't believe something because it's true.
⚠️ They believe it because it's the only version they're willing to see.
🌎 We live in a time where: 📱 Edits spread faster than facts. 🎭 Narratives spread faster than context. 🚫 Assumptions spread faster than truth.
Because of that, people create entire movies in their heads 🎬, turn strangers into villains 😈, and judge others based on a few manipulated seconds of content.
🚨 Before you judge someone... 🚨 Before you spread a narrative... 🚨 Before you label someone a villain...
