Nobody is coming to save you. Not your friends. Not love. Not luck. Not “one big break.” If your life changes, it’ll be because you dragged it there yourself, tired, scared, and unsure. Effort doesn’t guarantee success. You can do everything “right” and still lose. Life isn’t fair, and fairness isn’t coming to apologize

I have been in the wine and liquor business for about two years. The idea of venturing into the business came from a simple but eye opening moment. One day I went behind my backyard and noticed the number of empty bottles that had accumulated over time. It made me reflect on how often people consume wine and liquor not only during happy moments like celebrations, birthdays, and gatherings, but also during sad times, stressful periods, or sometimes even without a particular reason. That realization made me see that wine and liquor are deeply connected to people’s social lives and emotions, and it inspired me to explore the business side of it. Since then, the journey has given me valuable experience not only in sales but also in managing the challenges that come with the nightlife and hospitality environment. Working in this industry requires patience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to deal with different kinds of customers. One of the realities of the business is handling situations where some customers become intoxicated and may act rudely toward sales staff. In those moments, it is important to remain calm, professional, and ensure the safety and comfort of everyone in the environment. Proper staff training and good communication help manage such situations effectively. Another challenge is maintaining the lounge and outdoor seating areas. Because the space is frequently used, chairs and furniture sometimes get damaged or broken, which means we often have to repair or replace them. While this adds to operational costs, it is necessary to keep the environment comfortable and presentable for customers. Despite these challenges, the business has been very rewarding. It has helped me gain strong experience in customer relations, sales, and hospitality management. I also assist customers in selecting the right drinks for different occasions. People can reach out for guidance on choosing the best wines and liquors suitable for various events whether it’s a small gathering, celebration, corporate function, or a high class occasion with distinguished guests. The goal is always to recommend drinks that match the mood of the event and the caliber of people in attendance.🍷

Justice cannot be selective. If we believe in fairness, then we must believe in accountability on all sides. A system that punishes the guilty must also protect the innocent. Deliberately fabricating such a serious crime should carry significant legal consequences not out of vengeance, but to preserve the integrity of justice itself

“Even if she lied” Why is this one always daft? The allegation has not been proven to be true yet. That means there is a possibility it never even happened. Did that fly over your head? Did you skip primary school not to understand the consequences of crying wolf
Emeka@Emeneks

It’s crazy how you’re more angry about a possible lie than the violence she actually suffered. Even if she lied, who has been lynched because of it? A grave injustice has been done to her but you’re defending an unknown man that has neither been sent to jail or tried! You’re an Idiot

Male rape allegations are real, serious, and often misunderstood. First, men can absolutely be victims of rape and sexual assault. It happens in different contexts by women, by other men, in relationships, in workplaces, in prisons, during childhood, and even within marriage. The stereotype that men “always want sex” or “can’t be overpowered” makes it harder for people to recognize male victimization. Those myths silence victims. Second, male victims face unique barriers: 1.Fear of not being believed 2.Shame or embarrassment 3.Cultural pressure to “be strong” 4.Confusion about physical responses (like erection), which do not equal consent 5.Stigma around sexuality, especially if the alleged perpetrator is male Because of this, male rape is widely underreported. Many men never tell anyone. On the other side, allegations themselves whether made by men or against men must be handled carefully. An allegation is not automatically proof of guilt. Due process matters. False accusations do exist, but research consistently shows they are a small percentage compared to real cases. At the same time, every accused person deserves a fair and unbiased investigation. It’s important to hold two truths at once: 1.Male victims deserve to be taken seriously and supported. 2.Accusations must be investigated properly, without trial by social media

Rape allegations are extremely serious because they involve one of the most traumatic crimes a person can experience. An allegation means someone is accusing another person of sexual assault or rape, and that accusation carries legal, emotional, and social weight for everyone involved. False rape allegations are a serious issue — but they need to be discussed carefully and honestly. First, two truths can exist at the same time: 1.Sexual assault is real and widespread. 2.False allegations do happen — and they can deeply damage lives. The mistake people often make is pretending only one of those truths matters

You CANNOT be interested in rape discourse and eliminate false rape allegation. You CANNOT be interested in fighting for rape victims and taking a stand against rape and be silent about false rape allegation. You CANNOT be against rape and turn a blind eye when the rape victims are boys or the abusers are women. It simply means you do not care about rape or it victims. You are only protecting women. This is just common sense. When rape allegations come up on the TL, everyone is talking about it because they are interested. If you then decide to throw in your performative anger by asking men to stop raping women or claiming to hate men, you do not care about the victim. You only care about agenda, and only working hard to create distraction from the original issue. It was not women that was allegedly raped. It was somebody with a name. Focus on fighting for the truth so the offender can be punished. The offender can be the alleged rapist where he is found guilty or the accuser if she is found to be making false allegation. . . . Our lives are interconnected and your performative anger doesn’t help anybody. A girl child is somebody’s child, sister, niece, cousin, friend, colleague, among others. These people are both male and female. What hurts her, hurts all these people by extension. A boy child shares the same characteristics. What hurts him hurts all these people in his life by extension. You do not love women more than the men in their lives.

Men and women have been showing concern, calling for the accused to be found, looking for how to track him, verifying the allegation, calling for justice, reaching out to the victim. Idiots would come from nowhere - I hate men - Men deserve to die - The world would be better without men - Men, stop raping us. You left the alleged victim. You left the accused. Men are your problem. If you do not credit men for the good of one man, you cannot blame them for the offence of one. I’m definitely not taking responsibility or apologizing for another man’s offence. Who commits a crime should face the punishment themselves. We no gather dey.
