@ClueHeywood I want to hate this but I did get into soccer during my year abroad. In fairness it was in the UK so it was shrimp flavored potatoes chips and room temp beef at lunch. I’m awful.

Gonna be honest, I used to think less of soccer guys. Like, it felt a little arrogant and purposely countercultural, you understand the flows of the beautiful game and the rest of us don’t, you did a semester abroad and drink wine at lunch, la dee dah I still feel that way tbh

@Brynbikes Here in Philadelphia it’s $2.90USD to take the subway to the match and free for the ride home. Some cities are managing the WC better than others.

Here in Perth, pretty much every single sporting event includes free public transport to and from the grounds. Just found out that in the US for world cup, not only isn't it free, but they jacked up the prices for trains and buses to the games.

When I hear UK club fans refer to foreign fans of certain UK clubs as plastics or tourists, maybe you should think about how hard these World Cup kick-off times are for us now, and that this is the kind of sacrifice foreign fans make for every fixture to watch their UK club. 👍

@TheDeeVoShow Frankly in PA, I think the inner ring Delco towns are Philly suburbs and everything beyond that is just southeast PA

I will be sending out some final verdicts on the fringe towns after surveying the thoughts of the people. But in the meantime - and this is going to be tough for some people to accept - South Jersey is a stronger "Philly Suburb" than a large amount of PA towns.
