@syrenians !!exactly this. as messy as this one was, this is (sadly) a rare moment where victims & students collectively have the upper hand to demand accountability. yes it couldve & shouldve been better but lets not invalidate the efforts they put js bcs the forum wasnt ideal

i understand the concern and i agree! but the people yesterday were mostly their friends, peers, mentors, staffs or students who've seen cases like this all the time and the 1! time it's taken seriously, who were made to wait for 5+ hours just to see them show their faces

i think it comes of as disingenuous when people who don't go this uni and see how common cases like these gets blown up amongst students and nothing be done about it, complain how sensationalized and chaotic the forum was

open forum for SA cases are indeed far from ideal. we can all agree on that. but in context of FHUI, where SA cases happen year after year & victims are often denied the chance to fight for their rights, what’s happening right now is something worth standing for.

@rainlaniakea yep setuju & i never framed the forum as “enough” because it’s clearly not😅 i mentioned it on my last tweet that we deserve a better & much proper mechanism for SA cases, but lets acknowledge this one too would be a good start to demand more

ngga kak jangan keburu puas. terus tuntut lebih dari fakultas/kampus. it's one thing that they've finally given attention, but it doesn't mean they've given *proper* attention

setuju bgt sm semua org yg highlight layers to pendampingan KS yg ke-dismiss dari sidang malem tadi. tp gue liat banyak juga ya tmn2 progresif yg malah mencibir dan merendahkan forum semalam seolah that wasnt also the fight of countless people who were affected by what happened.

Buat yang liat live FH UI di sosmed, jangan dilihat sebagai pertunjukan "seru" dan tontonan semata ya anjing. Ini tu proses pengupayaan yang sulit buat mengejar keadilan untuk korban KS. Di kawal, retweet informasi pentingnya, lakukan hal yang membantu korban.
