As we move toward 2050, I think we're going back to 1850. More live events, more real world interaction. As AI grows, so will analog.

One reason it's more difficult to work with people you don't have faith in is simply that there are more possibilities to consider whenever they do something. You also have to consider all the ways they might have screwed up. Even if they didn't, you still have to think about it.

The best domain acquisitions I've seen were made by founders who had a clear idea of where they were heading.

A domain of mine ended up with a company that had about six followers when I first looked them up. A few years later, they were the shirt sponsor for some of the biggest football clubs in Brazil, including a record-breaking deal.

“How did you get pit.com and was it worth it?” One of our co-founders was trading domains. Bought @pitdotcom years ago. We acquired it from him. Worth it? Three-letter .com domains are scarce. AI turns intelligence into a commodity, and scarce assets appreciate. Domains, brands, real estate, distribution, relationships. All very AI-defensible. Trust is hard to earn. The domain helps set the tone.

NeverFail.com was acquired for $2,900 and I brokered the sale a year later for $150,000. Funny what can happen in a year.
