So the real issue is not whether women can raise men. They can, and they have. The real issue is the absence of male presence in a boy’s life. When that gap is filled by a father, uncle, mentor, or strong male figure the boy turns out solid. When that gap is empty, the boy struggles to find his footing as a man, no matter how excellent his mother is.

Women can raise men. Anybody saying otherwise is not being fair. Look around you many of the solid men walking this earth today were raised by single mothers, and they turned out well. So let us drop that lazy line. Women can raise good men. What women cannot do is model masculinity for a boy. A mother can teach her son values, discipline, respect, responsibility, and even how to treat a woman. But she cannot show him how to be a man because she is not one. That is not an insult. That is biology and reality. A boy needs to see manhood lived out daily to know how to wear it. He needs to watch how a man handles pressure, how a man provides, how a man controls his temper, how a man loves his wife, how a man takes responsibility when things go wrong. These things are caught more than they are taught. And only another man can pass them down. This is the same reason I say it is harder for a man to raise daughters the way a woman naturally would. I am deeply attached to my daughters, but their mother understands them in ways I never will. My girls fear their mum more than they fear me. That is just how it works. Each parent carries a weight the other cannot fully carry. That's why in a child life it's very important to have both parent present
