Family fear time is running out for their daughter who needs surgery for rare 'locked jaw' condition. Lauren Bolton can't eat solid food and is in constant pain

@PhilipArdagh In my early teaching days we once lost a seasoned colleague to cancer. Charlotte's web was her favourite book to read to class. I ended up reading the Charlotte's farewell to Wilbur section at her school memorial service. Poignant and heartbreaking😥

Can't find the original post but the question it raises is, "What's the saddest death of a fictional character?" I'll have to think about that but one which MUST be up there for consideration is Charlotte in CHARLOTTE'S WEB. I feel teary just thinking about it. What a gut-punch.

We both absolutely love @CalvertLakes. Calvert was Megan's haven with absolutely no barriers between the pair of us.

This is Laura, she was 23 when she died in May. She loved the @Lionesses, green Pringles, her dodgy old Motorola phone, carrots, Halloumi #CriminalMinds, Kate McKinnon, Sandra Bullock, @Everton #Chicago @GracieNuttall41 (most of the time!) & our dog Ziggy. We miss her such a lot
