I grew from 0 to 14k followers in six months. Ape holder. Multiple collections. Well connected. My reach was easily 50x what it is today. Then memecoins happened. I had fun and met new people but the space was full of envy, scams, and zero trust. Most of the old NFT crowd hated it, and I didn’t care. I stepped away and put family first. No noise. No posting. Came back after 7 months to 8.5k followers and basically zero reach. That’s fine. I’ve done it once I’ll do it again. And this time, I’ll build something bigger.

Soft parenting is the reason why kids are so disrespectful and weak nowadays. We’re raising a generation of brats because parents are too scared to give a real lesson. My older son made a mess of my tools and spilled paint everywhere so I made him face the wall for 10 minutes. My wife started an argument with me and said I should be soft with him because he’s a child. We’re not doing them any favors by being soft because they’ll never learn how to follow a simple rule. It’s better to face a wall for a few minutes than to get hit with a belt like I used to. If you just let kids do whatever they want, they grow up to be spoiled brats who expect everything for free. I want my son to listen to me and know there are consequences in this house. You’re failing your children if you think being their friend is more important than being their parent. Good luck dealing with your kids when they’re older and still have no respect for your home.

The replies on this thread are absolutely embarrassing. This is the United States of America. When you go to a restaurant, you tip. That’s the standard in this country. The basic minimum is 20%. All you people coming up with lame excuses to not tip, there’s a simple reason why, you’re tight and cheap and trying to justify it. Just pathetic. If you can’t tip 20% don’t go out to eat. I want a Porsche 911, but I can’t afford the tires or the oil changes so I don’t own one. If you can’t tip when you go out to eat, stay home you cheapskates. Adults making excuses, nothing worse. and I’m not in the Restaurant industry. Never have been. I just live in New Orleans, where there are a bunch of nice restaurants that I frequent. I take care of the people that take care of me. I don’t make lame excuses. Grow up already.

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill?
