PyCon Wroclaw 2025 has come to an end. I always see what could be improved in what already exists, so I'm never fully happy with what I've organized. But I see so many reviews, warm words, and thanks to your messages, I understand that everything turned out great. I can't tag everyone I'm grateful to – otherwise it would be quite a long list of everyone who was with us during all the preparation time and especially on November 14-15. I'm grateful to each of you – every speaker, sponsor, partner, participant, team member – you all create this wonderful atmosphere that everyone talks about! This year I received amazing support from the speakers. Your support gave me so much more confidence – thank you for that. It meant a lot to me. We'll do our best to continue what we're doing. But we can only make a conference with such an atmosphere together with you! I love working with post-conference feedback – it's the only way I really understand whether it makes sense to keep going. So I'm attaching a link to our feedback form here. If you have a chance to share your thoughts in more detail, we'd really appreciate it: forms.gle/1ViHiH9ZARn3uN… See you next time! We’re delighted to welcome Sebastian Buczyński, Trainer and Consultant at Bottega IT Minds. Sebastian will deliver two insightful talks at the conference: 🎙 14 November – “A Software Dev Optimized an App, but Nobody Congratulated Them Because It Was Written in Python” Over the years, Python has gained a reputation for being “slow”, but is that really true? In this talk, Sebastian cuts through the myths surrounding Python’s performance, focusing on real-world data, effective optimization strategies, and practical case studies from production systems. Learn what truly matters when tuning performance and how to choose wisely what to optimize and when. 🎙 15 November – “Pythonic [Anti]patterns That Age Like Milk” Best practices evolve and what was once considered “Pythonic” may now be an anti-pattern. Sebastian will explore outdated idioms and coding habits that silently harm projects, showing how to replace them with modern, maintainable approaches for today’s Python ecosystem. Sebastian has been sharing his knowledge at Python conferences since 2014 and enjoys exploring the world on his motorcycle when he’s not diving deep into code.

👋We’re excited to introduce Isaac Chung, Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Zendesk, and Kajetan Bochajczuk, Senior Data Scientist at Zendesk – a duo turning AI challenges into scalable, production-ready solutions. 🎙 Talk: “How AsyncIO Saved Our LLM Production Service” What happens when your shiny new AI feature takes over 15 seconds to process a single request? For Isaac and Kajetan, it meant frustrated users, stalled adoption – and a system that seemed doomed to fail. In this talk, they’ll share how they cut processing time by 98%, transforming a blocking, slow LLM proxy into a high-performance async pipeline capable of handling 1000+ items effortlessly. You’ll discover practical AsyncIO patterns, circuit breaker designs, error-handling strategies, and rate limiting techniques that keep large-scale AI systems reliable and efficient. By the end, you’ll learn how thoughtful design, refactoring, and async best practices can turn an unscalable prototype into a production success story. 👨‍💻 Isaac Chung, focused on building scalable and maintainable LLM-powered systems that process millions of conversations daily. 👨‍💻 Kajetan Bochajczuk is a mathematician by training, and an NLP specialist with a growing passion for graphics programming.
