Some people say we are using construction sets when they watch our videos, that what we build must be staged, that the hands in the frame couldn’t possibly belong to the same people telling the story. That somewhere off camera, there’s a set, a crew, a version of us that isn’t real.
But the truth is much simpler than that.
We are just two men in jeans and T shirts, covered in sawdust more often than not. Our days are measured in cuts, in levels, in the weight of stone and the grain of wood. We don’t spend our weekends in clubs or chasing scenes, we spend them building things that will outlast us. A wall. A window. A space that didn’t exist before we decided it should.
There is nothing performative about hard work. You can’t fake a structure into standing. Wood doesn’t lie. Stone doesn’t pretend. If something is off, it shows. If something is weak, it fails. What you see in our videos is exactly what it is, earned, learned, sometimes imperfect, but always real.
And maybe more importantly… not every gay story looks the same.
For a long time, the world only made room for one version of us, the loudest, brightest, most visible expression. And there is nothing wrong with that. But progress has done something quieter, and far more powerful: it has made space for difference.
Some of us are builders. Some of us are growers. Some of us find joy not in crowds, but in creation. In the slow, deliberate act of making a life with our hands.
Not every love story begins in a club or under neon lights. Some begin in the stillness of a morning, with coffee on a workbench and a shared plan for what comes next.
This is ours.
Wood Morning!
