I am ready to teach wildfire science online as part of the new course by @metoffice. Starting in 1 pm with the rest of the team: Mark, Stacey and Rob.
My summary: Wildfire behaviour is complex but it can be approximated by the key individual components of fuel, slope, and wind.
@Griffen8Smith I believe that is the South Fork Fire, just over the border in Idaho, on the back side of Bass Peak. Maybe it's also on the front side by now, too. It looks pretty well hemmed in by slide paths, alpine terrain, and an old burn.
