@imadetheseworks Can you tell what is missing from the existing system so that someone could build it?

How come every software engineer has built a to-do list app before, yet almost all to-do list apps are strangely insufficient? 🫩

Happily surprised to discover that Enums in Dart can implement classes

@pythonhubdev The amusement park is closed this week and will reopen next Saturday (or Friday night UTC+8). 🫣

@pythonhubdev Achieving these effects only requires using Flutter's Canvas API. The rest is all math and algorithms 😂

@shiweidu 😂 I thought I was alone in coding to relax on weekends.

@pythonhubdev Actually, the idea for Arcade UI came to me yesterday after get off work, because I've been so tired this week. I wanted to write something relaxing, like a playground 😂.

@shiweidu Yeah that’s super cool and I guess most of them won’t require any dependencies.

@pythonhubdev The four components I have implemented so far are all dependency-free.

@shiweidu But I don’t know if many things will run smoothly on Flutter web, but definitely we can use them for mobile. It would be cool to have some copy-paste code without dependencies. I’ll try to contribute some easy components as well.

@pythonhubdev 🤩Wow! This looks so cool! I'm going to take some effects from ReactBits and implement them in the Arcade UI! That would be awesome! (And try to keep it dependency-free)

@pythonhubdev The "fake 3D" effect in the black hole background is achieved by using ellipses that continuously move towards the center to deceive the eye 🤣 You can't look too closely, or you'll notice this.

@pythonhubdev The most difficult part of the black hole mesh is the central region; if you look closely, you'll see that I didn't handle it well. I hardcoded the boundary conditions.

@shiweidu You're so quick 😂. Give me some time to finish my things. I can't try this right now, but I really want to 😭.

@pythonhubdev Sure, but I'm planning to write another Dock (just for zooming in). The current Dock's scaling and background style are configurable. You should copy and paste it to explore! 😉

@shiweidu Thats cool! Can we scale the icons instead of expanding? Similar to mac dock?

@pythonhubdev This is why it's called "Arcade"—it offers some less commonly used but interesting UI components. Additionally, the code is distributed through copying, allowing you to freely modify it.😀
