You assume I make money to make money. I make money because I have to. Mom has lung disease although healthcare is free here, meds aren't. Dad's had multiple digestive attacks. One grandma has dementia, the other has cancer and just had a heart attack. My uncle just died from a lung infection. I've survived two lung infections that nearly killed me. My brother caught the European hantavirus and has expensive leg operations, I help pay for those too. Got cheated on twice while dealing with all of it. Moved cities twice to get better education so I could provide. I have severe brain fog every day. I don't use any of it as a cope. We all go through things. Most of us just don't scream it into a timeline. You use yours to explain why you're where you are. I use mine as the reason to work harder. That's the difference. Not the money.
