If Southgate is serious about human rights, he will not attend Qatar 2022.
And to Al Khater: there has been proven to be migrant workers who have been paid so little, and have little to no rights. Passports have been taken away. This world cup has blood on it'd hands.

The workers who are building the #WorldCup2022 stadiums are being forced to stay in their job, with many having their passports taken off them. Many are also not being paid on time.

Many migrant workers had their passports seized so they cannot leave #Qatar to go home. Migrant workers are also not allowed to search for different jobs (@amnesty). This is #moderndayslavery.

@HumzaYousaf Let's hope the 2022 World Cup doesn't go ahead. It is built on the back of slave labour, and Qatar's human rights record is appalling. It is illegal to be LGBT in Qatar, something that no team in world football should condone this by playing in this world cup.
