"The Return of Swamp Thing" was released on this day in 1989. Enormously entertaining superhero sequel from director Jim Wynorski and screenwriters Neil Cuthbert and Grant Morris. Highlights: Fun cast (Dick Durock, Louis Jourdan, Heather Locklear, and Sarah Douglas); terrific Chuck Cirino score. While "The Return of Swamp Thing" recouped its production budget at the box office, it wasn't as successful as the original film. With its focus on humor, special effects and comic book action, I thought this sequel was much better than the original movie. Incredibly underrated.

#Nowwatching One of the best theatre experiences i can remember. The Farrelly's went way beyond what anyone was expecting... i remember people losing their shit in the theatre ... its been 25 years, we'll see if it holds up......

What movies are we watching this weekend???

Thinking about John Woo, could someone please upgrade BROKEN ARROW! Christian Slater, Samantha Mathis and John Travolta doing gun-fu in 4K UltraHD, I need it!

After watching Deathstalker last night, I'm now well and truly enjoying the soundtrack. For a film i was concerned about watching, i am already a fan. Its the kind of crap I love to watch.

What less popular movie do you think more people should see?
