Yesterday I was humbled by the opportunity to share my ideas for the socio-economic transformation of Hoima City and particularly my constituency Hoima East with these two great men, Gen. Salim Saleh - Chief Cordinator Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) & Hon. William Byaruhanga former Attorney General of the Republic of Uganda. Our conversation focused on opportunities of skilling the ghetto youth in Hoima City so they can benefit from the Oil & Gas activities, promoting commercial agriculture, providing support to different developmental women groups and promoting sports talent development through establishment of a sports academy with Hoima set to be one of the host cities of the Africa Cup of Nations in 2027. Thank you Gen. Saleh & Hon. Byaruhanga for listening & embracing the ideas of the young people and encouraging us to step up and lead as a new generation. Hoima City will benefit from your wisdom and its time for Bunyoro to shun politics of cash hand-outs and shine with politics of socio-economic transformation. #LeadershipThatWorks
