With last night’s final state championship game, that concludes the 2023 Florida high school football 🏈 season For those of you that have followed along with my journey around the entire state that’s taken me from @BrowardsEliteFB at @AquinasRaiders to start the season and many new places I’ve never been to: @BTHS_Football @Niceville_FB @naplesfootball @RamsRhsFootball @SumnerHSFootbal @CocoaFootball @HHS_Football352 @lwhs_f @WhartonHighFB @PortCharlotteFB And it all concluded with the @FHSAA state championships in @Visit_Tally at @FAMUAthletics Bragg Memorial Stadium 🏟️ I’ve experienced some great high school football all around the state and have met some genuine people along the way. There’s plenty more to come! #flhsfb

Here’s how close Jalen Carter came to intercepting Patrick Mahomes on Monday night and here’s what he had to say about it: “I saw it on the internet, I've seen it on YouTube, some high school kid tried, and he actually caught the ball,” Carter told reporters. “I thought, 'That's a good idea,' I knew they would spike it, so I tried to go for it.”
