@JeremyECrawford I am signing off twitter. I appreciate all the help you give people and I really enjoyed helping the community out. Twitter is too dangerous a place for me; I wish there was another way for me to help. I hope you find peace and love and always follow your bliss.

@JeremyECrawford I'm sure you've heard this one before: Wizard A casts 1 action spell. Enemy B counterspells. Can the Wizard A counterspell Enemy B's counterspell as a reaction?

@JeremyECrawford When choosing a target for Chill Touch, do you target the space, the creature or both? Where is the spell's point of origin? Looking for clarification in relation to the Cover rules.

@Exlipse1 @JeremyECrawford PH 170 "... even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach." Did you take the Disengage action before leaving their reach? In your example, yes. It makes no mention about timing of taking the action while within their reach.

@JeremyECrawford If I am holding a spell for a trigger, and that trigger never happens, can I use the spell on a different target or in a different manner than I was intending. Ie: instead of deflecting an arrow with gust, I decide to push an enemy away since I never was shot at

@Yourneighboors1 @JeremyECrawford If by "stun lock" you mean use a ki point with each hit to force the target to make a con. save that would force the target to become stunned until the monk's next turn, then yes.

@ScottCPrim @mmelas74 @SageAdviceDnD @JeremyECrawford PH 44 "... spells and other magical effects can neither reduce the target's speed ..." Sentinel's benefit is not magical. Nothing about Sentinel's benefit implies that it is a restraint nor something that can be escaped (but it would be reasonable for a DM to rule that way).

Hi @JeremyECrawford does Freedom of Movement help against the Sentinel Feat effect: "When you hit a creature with an opportunity Attack, the creature’s speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn." cheers

@DaFrenchBeaver @JeremyECrawford If the Readied action occurs before your next turn, you can take that action. At the beginning of your next turn, you have a new action to use, which could be used for the Attack action.

@Stigvar @JeremyECrawford 1) Yes. See PH 191. 2) You must fly for 1 minute (minimum). Outside that time, the item's description does not state what is required to expire and is up to the DM.

#DnD @JeremyECrawford not sure if already dealt but...about winged boots: 1) if I end my turn on the air, do I stay aloft even without hover? 2) if yes, can I choose to fall? Assuming there's still "flying time" available for the boots ofc

@JeremyECrawford Hello my friends and I wonder if a hexblade warlock would be able to summon a pact weapon out of thin that look like a longsword but instead of giving slashing damage uses radiant or force etc.

@Benanse @JeremyECrawford No, the attacks from the Attack action must be made with only one of the listed weapons to gain the benefit.

@JeremyECrawford A question about the Polearm Master. "When you take the Attack action and attack with ONLY a glaive , ..., you can use a bonus action to make a melee attack..." Can I alternate an unarmed attack and then an extra attack whith glaive, and finally use the feat BA?

@JeremyECrawford If a Half Orc Druid currently in the form of a bear at 3 HP suffers 10 damage, can they trigger Relentless Endurance to survive at 1 HP as a bear? If so, does this save their original form from suffering the excess damage? RE and WS's end both trigger at 0 HP.

If you cast a spell with a casting time of 1 bonus action, that is the only circumstance in which you follow the rule on casting spells as a bonus action. Even then, you can cast two spells on one turn, but one of them must be a cantrip. (Cantrips are spells.) #DnD
Paige@lapisloveslaw

@JeremyECrawford Is this not valid? Or were you more speaking to the various exceptions to it?
