Next Saturday, I’m partnering with @afropolitan to host a showcase of my latest sculpture collection at Mìlíkì This is a return for me, as I’ll be releasing my first sculptures since 2023. They also mean a lot to me, as these are the first time i’ve been able to create those sculptures here in Nigeria. All my life, I’ve been told our history belongs in glass boxes we don’t control, and our artefacts belong in other people’s buildings. I disagree. This one is for the women who shape us.
