Also, neither al-Ghazali nor Ibn Ḥazm are scholars of the Sunnah whose opinions are heeded; rather, both of them are misguided philosophers who have deviations both in the fundamentals of the religion and in the foundations of fiqh. As for Amir as-Sanani, he too had deviations in the foundations of fiqh, and he was a Ẓahiri. As for certain individuals from Madinah who permitted music, their view was rejected; and the scholars mentioned it among the very reprehensible opinions - like permission of Riba, anal sex etc, such that whoever gathers them becomes a zindīq. If this is what you want, then you are moving in the right direction! Imam Ismail ibn Isḥaq (199–288 AH), a student of the students of Imām Malik, the chief judge of the Caliphate, said: دخلت على المعتضد فدفع إلى كتابا نظرت فيه وكان قد جمع له الرخص من زلل العلماء وما احتج به كل منهم لنفسه فقلت له يا أمير المؤمنين مصنف هذا الكتاب زنديق فقال لم تصح هذه الأحاديث قلت الأحاديث على ما رويت ولكن من أباح المسكر لم يبح المتعة ومن أباح المتعة لم يبح الغناء والمسكر وما من عالم إلا وله زلة ومن جمع زلل العلماء ثم أخذ بها ذهب دينه فأمر المعتضد فأحرق ذلك الكتاب “I entered upon the Caliph al-Muʿtaḍid, and he handed me a book. I looked into it and saw that it had compiled the dispensations (rukhaṣ) stemming from the slips of scholars in various matters, along with the proofs each of them used for his own position. So I said: ‘O Commander of the Faithful! The compiler of this book is a zindīq.’ The Caliph said: ‘But are these ḥadīths not authentic?’ I said: ‘The ḥadīths are as they have been transmitted. However, the one who permitted intoxicating nabīdh did not permit mutʿah (temporary marriage), and the one who permitted mutʿah did not permit singing and intoxicants. Every scholar has a slip; but whoever gathers the slips of the scholars and then acts upon them—his religion will be lost!’” Then al-Muʿtaḍid ordered that the book be burned. The great imām Mamar ibn Rāshid (95–153 AH) said: لو أن رجلا ، أخذ بقول أهل المدينة في السماع - يعني الغناء - وإتيان النساء في أدبارهن ، وبقول أهل مكة في المتعة والصرف ، وبقول أهل الكوفة في السكر ، كان شر عباد الله “If a man were to take the view of the people of Madinah regarding samāʿ- meaning singing - and intercourse with women in their rear, and the view of the people of Makkah regarding mutʿah and ṣarf (usury/interest), and the view of the people of Kūfah regarding intoxication from nabīdh - then he would be the worst of Allah’s servants!” Source: al-Amr bil-Maʿrūf wa al-Nahy ʿan al-Munkar by Imām al-Khallāl, p. 174. Imam al-Awzai (may Allah be pleased with him) said: مَنْ أَخَذَ بِنَوَادِرِ الْعُلَمَاءِ خَرَجَ مِنَ الإِسْلاَمِ “Whoever takes the rare/odd opinions of the scholars has departed from Islam.” Reported by al-Bayhaqī in al-Sunan al-Kubrā, 21446. Moreover, modern music is prohibited even according to people like them, because it goes beyond what they used to permit - such as certain wind instruments known among the Arabs of that time, traditional war chants, and songs about daily life. Ibn Ḥazm said - and those who permit (music) constantly cite him: حُرِّمَ على المسلم الالتذاذ بسماع نغمة امرأة أجنبية “It is forbidden for a Muslim to take pleasure in listening to the melody/voice of a non-maḥram woman.” (Ṭawq al-Ḥamāmah) 💠 So what if that woman is singing about fornication, drugs, half-naked, etc.? ‼️ And many modern songs are not only a call to sins, but also a call to the creed of liberalism. 🖍 There are so many examples of this that if I began listing them, one could write a dissertation: practically all modern musicians do not only sing, for example, about sex, but also push some moral message - about “self-acceptance,” “freedom,” and so on. ‼️ And to stretch a very weak disagreement regarding some limited allowance in the music of the Arabs to cover all this- this is either sheer ignorance, or sheer following of one’s desires.

Those who were fighting to establish themselves as authorities, for power and wealth, they proved their betrayal of Islam & Muslims whenever they took over a village or city and now a nation- by establishing the Shirk of plurality and secularism. All I can pray for is a path to freedom in this life for the Muslims imprisoned by the apostate Jolani regime in Syria and the Iranian-puppet regime in Iraq- both backed by the US and Kuffaar. My Ad'iyyah are not because I think they need it. But, rather it is to alleviate my own guilt about the entire 'Ummah not coming to their aid because of hate based on propaganda by apostates and secularists. Whoever hates this post, this message, and has the opposite supplication against these Muslims- {Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not, and you believe in all the Scriptures [i.e. you believe in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), while they disbelieve in your Book, the Qur’ân]. And when they meet you, they say, "We believe." But when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you in rage. Say: "Perish in your rage. Certainly, Allâh knows what is in the breasts (all the secrets)."} You have sold your Akhirah because of your hatred for a people who did not wrong you and they sought only to establish the Shari'ah in the land. You conspired with people who disbelieve in the Quran as Batini Shi'ah, and others who claim to be Christian and Jew, against Muslims. Fights between Muslims are not resolved by allying with Kuffaar against Muslims or handing Muslims over to Kuffaar for imprisonment. Killing one another over authority, handing one's own brothers and sisters over to Kuffaar has hostages, and refusing to legislate the entire Shari'ah are false "Sunan" learned from non-Islamic kings and rulers like the Mughals, Ottomans, Abbasids, Umayyads, and Fatimids. Now, we have a large population of the 'Ummah that celebrates such treachery because that's what they're being taught at Madaaris and "Islamic" universities. We should weep for ourselves. We're the ones that are really in prison...
