If addiction has caused someone to become a real threat to themselves or others, they need intervention and mandatory treatment. For far too long, people have been left to suffer in cycles of addiction, harming themselves and those around them. We are changing that. With more than 10,000 publicly funded treatment spaces, 11 recovery communities, and groundbreaking programs, Alberta has built a world-class recovery model based on the truth that recovery is possible.
