it's funny how trans girls from the rest of the world are so obsessed with injections being the Ideal Method of HRT meanwhile girls here in Australia are living in the future where you can get a pellet of estrogen that lasts you a whole year of treatment inserted in your butt

@Leidy_Dragon @beachgayz enanthate is more stable at a weekly dose than biweekly (see transfemininescience.com), and undecylate is a very experimental ester that needs frequent blood tests and people that are new to hrt should steer clear from it

@beachgayz thats interesting, to be fully sold on this, knowing what your levels are closer to the end point would be the most valuable, hopefully we get some more info in the future from you and others on this regimen

@beachgayz when was this taken in reference to when you would take your next pellets? since trough is always best (ty for all your replies btw, this is really interesting to learn about)

@beachgayz to concretely call it a good method, it would be best to know what your exact levels at trough are. when you're able to I would try to get a blood test right before you would put in your next pellets, im glad its seemingly working fine for you tho, levelsnare just nice to b sure

@queenjaydes6 i'm on monotherapy with 2 pellets, it's generally easy to get to that point if your body responds well to the implants and it lasts till your next implant

@beachgayz curious to learn more details about this, does it effectively suppress T on its own without the need for a T blocker, and what do trough levels look like on pellets? if at trough T stays under 50 ng/dl, and E atleast 100 pg/ml before you get your next pellet, then thats good

@queenjaydes6 you can't disagree that that doesn't compare to the convenience of pellets though. one injection once a year compared to 52 injections throughout a year is a huge difference. i'm glad they do well for you though and i don't disagree that they're a fine an effective method

@turkmenisutan If you're already a phobe asking this in bad faith, then my reply is pointless, but I will give you an actual answer. Gender is an internal classification, race is an external classification system placed upon you typically by a state. Race is tied to how society racializes you

@queenjaydes6 @StrangeIsLive @Jinx3d_Fate @RustyBud_ There are also intersex people who have a shitton of testosterone and don't develop any masculine features. Would you say that proves testosterone doesn't cause masculinization? Things are very different for intersex people. And we have the research for prog anyway.

@StrangeIsLive @Jinx3d_Fate @RustyBud_ its highly unlikely prog does anything beyond temporary water retention that can make them look more "full", theres intersex women that dont produce natal progesterone who still developed normal boobs, which basically debunks it entirely

@doggydognosekai and if this person then decided to transition to womanhood, they'd be transmisogyny-affected. being a trans woman is about being coercively assigned male at birth

@doggydognosekai not true actually, because you could be assigned male at birth with ovaries and/or a uterus that you can't see from the outside because the baby had what appeared to be a penis, and thus was expected to perform maleness

@junkd0g_ im an organizer that runs spaces for trans women and transfems and this is something i had to run into *multiple times*. it irks me to my core because i thought it was more of a chronically online thing, why do people have to always push our boundaries as trans women

why do you want to be trans fem to police other trans fems and not to articulate your experience with trans misogyny. i don’t understand why do people love calling themselves trans women and trans fems but hate when trans misogyny is mentioned
