@BethMatuga I suppose I shouldn't have even responded; they were married before I was born. But I can see how it's probably strange for people who lived through all of that to see her as Queen after how vilified she was. Especially since Elizabeth II was on the throne for so long.

@queenmilla2005 Guys I understand. But 30 years ago their relationship was one of the biggest stories and scandals in the world. If you went back in time and told people she'd be parading around the US with the monarch for our 250th anniversary you would have been institutionalized

The Royals just presented a baby Roo to complete a set of Winnie the Pooh toys at New York Public Library. I’m sorry, I’ll never be a Royalist, but credit where it’s due, they are knocking it out the park and earning their keep this week. I don’t want to be impressed but I am.

Milne As we mark the 100th anniversary of the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories, The Queen has presented a very special gift to the New York Public Library, reuniting baby Roo with his friends from the 100 Acre Wood. The Library is home to the original collection of toys owned by Christopher Robin Milne, son of A.A. Milne, which inspired the characters in the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh series. The collection is missing Roo, the baby kangaroo who was lost in an orchard in the 1930s. The new addition of Roo was created by Shropshire-based company Merrythought, who also created the original toys. 👀 Watch Roo’s great adventure travelling from Buckingham Palace onboard Their Majesties’ flight to his new home in New York.

King Charles came to visit the USA even though the majority of British people were against him because of all the insulting things Trump is saying. Charles father Prince Philip lived to be 99 & his mother Queen Elizabeth lived to be 96. Sadly Princess Diana died at only 36 😞
