.@CrossCountryUK I’ve just been on your 12.01 from Stafford. There were 30 people in the vestibule and a young person rammed in there almost passed out. But first class wasn’t declassified and you halved the number of carriages for this train. Profit over people I guess.

@CrossCountryUK It’s a shocking state of affairs when your *crew* are telling me that them complaining on grounds of health and safety does nothing. Your company’s customer service attitude is appalling.

So. @UKCP_Updates said in their letter to members last week that “We’re now working with some of our counselling and psychotherapy partners, including […] @ncpscounselling, to create new regulatory guidelines” NCPS say they are not aware of this #TherapistsConnect

Where do I go? I have to be a member of an org for my job. I had to leave my UKCP training course because of transphobia so eligible for @BACP. Left them because of their shocking position on sex work (& later ScoPED). Joined @ncpscounselling and now this? Feeling incredibly sad

@Kel_MHB @BACP @ncpscounselling At a conference a few years ago. Suggested that sex worked couldn’t also be therapists as they wouldn’t have ‘good boundaries’

As a member of @ncpscounselling, finding out they’ve seemingly removed themselves as signatories from the Memorandum of Understanding is completely shocking. To see this may have happened historically, and without any communication with members, is a betrayal of trust.

@aminaerin1 @BACP @ncpscounselling Psychologists aren’t therapists. We’re a different profession. I have a PhD in psychology *and* I’m a trained therapist. I couldn’t do either job on the other qualification :)

@aminaerin1 @BACP @ncpscounselling Well, as a therapist I’m ethically obliged to be a member of a body. I’m not a counselling psychologist so a counselling body is more appropriate. In my personal circumstance, the job I’m in requires me to be a member of a counselling org so BPS isn’t available to me

I’ve legally, socially, and medically transitioned. Constantly misgendering me just sounds & looks stupid at this point. Transphobes like to constantly misgender trans people on Twitter. They call it “correctly sexing” us. It’s just flat out bigotry. Transphobes don’t think it’s bigotry. They call it “just telling the truth.” You can’t hide your bigotry behind the idea of “truth.” It’s rude, disrespectful, and hateful.
