For me. For you. For the children. For the voice of the voiceless: Shhhhh. Silence. If I speak I fear that I will never be silent, even in my silence I scream for less to say! For no word or words can say what I mean to say. And the wrong words are deafening. —qhnspeaks #peace

If we allowed children to be children. Imagine. Children who witness war and children who witness intimate partner violence are changed for forever. Prevent. Interrupt. Heal. #dvam2023 #ceasefire

And this is #DVAM2023. The greatest manipulation is when the aggressor makes it seem publicly like they are the victim. The greatest injustice is when the public & state systems participate in this untruth causing immeasurable levels of trauma for the real victims and witnesses

Mutulu Shakur was a giant in Black liberation politics. His leading role in creating radical health institutions, in freeing Assata, his organizing . A true revolutionary history of him has yet to be written, but it needs to be so that today's organizers know who we just lost.

. @antonioguterres tells Caribbean leaders: it is impossible to look at the [Haitian] crisis without seeing the long shadow of centuries of colonial exploitation, extortion, dictatorship and other screaming injustices. We must help ease the suffering of the Haitian people.
