Seeing requests for other formats for DLC. I think the main event of every DLC should be core. But they should have other formats at every DLC that are CCQs with higher level of prizing. Maybe winner also gets a golden Mickey and a continental invite. Sealed, draft and infinity.

@rebekahquests @YbreezyS @coflorcana It also seems like they’re going to have another D23 set with the way the cards are numbered. That should draw eyes to Lorcana as well during the event.

@YbreezyS @coflorcana and Disney fans pay attention they’ll notice this thing making waves and get interested if they weren’t already and that helps the brand recognizability within Disney circles which is still really lacking

My - HOT TAKE - after being at D23 last time, there is *barely* enough time to see all the panels, visits all the booths, collect all the exclusives AS IT IS. Now try squeezing a CCQ on top of that? That will be a tough sell for casual or new players. Maybe if it was a pack rush CCQ Not saying that D23 isn’t a better venue to get new players than GenCon is. But knowing the mindset of D23 goers, most of them likely won’t want to take a full day off from the convention to try a new game they’ve never played before.

Ended up going 9-1-1 over pre release weekend. Biggest sign that sealed is better this set, I did one draft and only used 2 cards above uncommon in it. The cards that everyone sees more of are just too good.

Probably our most wanted franchise is Sophia the First. This show was a must watch when the kids were younger. I hope it comes to Lorcana.
