I can only presume he's leaving now because he didn't get the Chairman job.
Now that he's got zero upward momentum within the company's Experiences division, he walks out leaving Magic Kingdom's Frontierland utterly destroyed in his wake.

@DisneyScoopGuy Giving away fastpasses was an awesome feeling.
However I kind of wish I kept a few more of them as souvenirs.
Always hated how they had to take them away when we got in line.
A lot of cool Disneyland souvenirs are just thrown in the trash. 😢

6 years ago today was the last day to use FastPasses at Disneyland and we had no idea

Giving away your unused FastPasses to unsuspecting guests used to be part of the magic of Disney but they took that from us

And go back a little further, no reservations combined with the no blackout Premium Annual Passports we’d be able to go 365 days a year. 😭
Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas morning, New Years Eve…if we felt like going to the park on a whim we went!

@DisneyScoopGuy I’m sure they want to spread out their events/announcements/ reopenings etc. There’s too much happening this year & A Magical Life is still new.
They most likely will open it next year for the America’s 250 year anniversary. I’m anxious too but it’s a smart business move I guess

@DisneyScoopGuy @coasters_bgw For sure Gadget and Railway. But on both of them they didn’t just say “make sure your belongings are secure” which would be normal. It was more like “phones and cameras must be put away at this time” or something like that. I remember it just sounded off.

@DisneyScoopGuy @coasters_bgw I don’t think so. Phones are the only thing people hold & are rarely dropped.
I just heard this announcement for the first time & it was on more than one ride.
Must be a move to crackdown on filming either because they have their own POVs now or for future VR features.
