We have retained @heitner to pursue all legal remedies as it pertains to our client, Marquez Tatum, and his treatment by the FIU athletic department. The alleged actions/inactions of FIU as it relates to Marquez are outrageous and can not be tolerated. FAIR Sports takes pride in not only promoting its players, but also protecting them from the injustices that occur in College Sports today, like those alleged in the statement below. FIU football player Marquez Tatum alleges a systematic administrative failure following his injury, claiming the university obstructed his medical redshirt waiver and jeopardized his collegiate athletic career. FIU must be held accountable.
