As someone who covers the UFL and know many wonderful people who cover, play, work, and coach in this league, I don’t appreciate the condescending tone of Pat McAfee and his crew making fun of it. He knows the league is called UFL and still calls it “UXFL”. It’s disrespectful to the players, coaches, staff members, and content creators for this league who bust their ass daily to cover the UFL to give them the attention they deserve. A lot of us content creators who cover the league get little to no money to cover it. These players are putting their bodies on the line to keep their dreams of playing football and in the NFL alive. But sure, let’s celebrate Pat making fun of the league on the same network they broadcast the games on because he “mentioned the UFL.” I would rather them say nothing about the UFL than make fun of it daily. This is disappointing to see. Sorry if I’m coming off as too sensitive, but I care about this league and the people within it too much to let this slide. Have a great night everyone. 🫡 #UFL
