Day 9 of trying to make ₹5,00,000 in 30 days just by roaming on the streets of Mumbai and trying to sell our AI app. Today as well, we closed over ₹10,000 in sales. Still feels crazy saying that out loud. Jinesh got a message from his friend saying: “Hey, there’s this production house that might actually need your app.” So we went. Honestly? They themselves didn’t have a huge use case for BeHooked. But the conversation was solid. They understood what we’re building. They understood where AI video workflows are going. And most importantly, they said they’d refer us to people in their network who actually need this badly. That’s something I’m learning on this journey: Not every meeting gives you money. Some meetings give you distribution. That’s literally how business works. You pitch. You meet people. You get referrals. You keep moving. And somehow, slowly, things start compounding. What are you working on this week?

I shipped Thuki 0.7.0 this week, a fully local AI overlay for macOS. Double tap Control from any app, including fullscreen, to ask questions and dismiss them. No tab switching. No API keys. No cloud. Data stays on the machine. Here is what is new: - Agentic web search, fully local. Thuki can now search the web for up to date information it cannot answer from its own knowledge. It uses a SearXNG and Trafilatura pipeline to fetch and distill live results, with a real time trace stream. No API key required and fully self hosted. - In app model picker. Switch between any Ollama models without editing config files. Thuki detects installed models automatically. - New settings panel. Context window size, Ollama URL, system prompt, UI display - all tunable in-app. - /think command makes the model thinks harder before answering - Cross model continuity. Switch models mid session and keep conversation history, adapted to the new model. - Additional slash commands like /tldr, /todos, /translate, /rewrite, etc. The hardest part was building the web search pipeline and making it truly agentic. The system has to decide when a query needs live data or when to do more search rounds and then synthesize multiple sources without hallucinating citations. It was worth the effort.
