USA Today announced Rachel Goldberg Polin is their “Woman of the Year.” Rachel’s son Hersh was wounded and kidnapped by Hamas on October 7th. Rachel became one of the central voices of the movement to return the Israeli hostages. Her voice is one of humanity, wisdom, and courage. Her son tragically came home only to be buried. But Rachel fought steadfastly alongside the other hostage families until everyone was home. This honor couldn’t be more deserved.

Today mom told me that when I was born and she chose not to return to work, she gave up not only her pay but also excellent benefits. With my dad self-employed, they paid up a tremendous amount for our health insurance. And, then she said, “it was an easy decision.” My heart ❤️

@scfc_magic We’ve had shit luck with injuries this season which has no doubt played a part in why we’ve not played our best. Yet we’re still in the mix for L1 play offs and into a cup final. Not that long ago that we were in NL North, maybe we could just focus on enjoying where we are now.

Anyone got any good travel/motion sickness hacks? I’ve tried otc travel sick meds (make me too tired), the accupressure wristbands & even the silly-looking glasses to no avail I’m a whole grown adult who has to bring sick bags with me wherever I go just in case 😓🥲

@CountyPodcast L1 Play offs are still in reach and we’ve made it to a cup final at Wembley. We’ve done all of that whilst not being at our best and having a shed load of injuries. Maybe it’s not our best season performance wise but we’re still doing pretty well in the grand scheme of things.
