A fandom has reached out to us for a gift giving event. I don’t want this message to sound negative or full of anger because that’s not my intention. But I do want to be honest about how disappointing and disheartening this whole situation feels. You reached out to us first. You asked for our coordination in arranging the venue and selecting beneficiaries. You even took the initiative to be in the group chat so everything could be organized properly. So to suddenly hear that the event was being canceled, just because I happen to be a "fan of someone," is something I truly didn’t expect. I would have fully understood if you decided to change the beneficiaries or make adjustments to your plans. That’s normal and we’ve handled many similar situations before. But canceling the entire event, after all the coordination and conversations we’ve had, feels quite unprofessional and inconsiderate. At the end of the day, I am human too. I post about things I like, I share what I feel whether it’s about politics, celebrities, or even sports. That’s part of who I am. But in every partnership and collaboration we’ve had, we’ve always maintained professionalism and respect, regardless of personal preferences or fandoms. We’ve worked with many fan groups, and every single one of them treated our cause with understanding and respect. The goal has always been the same, it's always to help children and families in need. It just breaks my heart to think about the mothers and children who were told there would be an event, who waited and got excited, only to be left hanging in the end. They deserve BETTER than that. I hope this message reaches you not out of anger, but as a reminder that when we work on charitable efforts, it’s not about who we are fans of or what we post online. God Bless Sincerely, Joyce
