Every person opposing the Lebanese government directly negotiating a peace deal with Israel prefers Lebanon becoming worse than North Korea. The country has been drowning in shit since 2019 and the main issue, by far, has been Hezbollah. From sanctions catalyzing the economic crisis in 2019, to the 2020 Port explosion, to the crushing and humiliating defeat in 2024, and to now dragging us into a war revealing that they've been lying about the disarmament. Hezbollah was defeated in such a crushing manner in 2024, unable to fight back against Israel and losing fucking Hassan Nasrallah, that all the fucking country was confused about who launched the rockets at the beginning. Why would Lebanon need to be at war because Khamenei died? And before you bring up Israel "violating the ceasefire multiple times," Hezbollah has been fundamentally doing so by refusing to disarm as the ceasefire agreement included respecting UNSC 1701, which itself is being violated by Hezbollah since 2006. And now, you want Iran to negotiate on our behalf? Then you forget that Israel has its own goals to achieve in Lebanon and they have the upper hand in the negotiations. Lebanon would lose the South to be a buffer zone forever as Hezbollah will still have to exist if Iran has a say. The displaced Shia would have to go to areas where they are not welcome due to sectarian tensions where this loss is seen as their fault in the first place. Which is where Lebanon's situation would worsen more and more until it's North Korea. Unless you're delusional to think that Iran is so benevolent when negotiating on our behalf that they would give us the best deal and leave Lebanon with Hezbollah disarmed EL.OH.EL. You want a ceasefire before negotiations? Good job, you achieved nothing. Hezbollah will try to coup the government and Israel will start bombing them again. They already lied after 2024. They will lie again, because as long as they have arms and Iran is allowed into Lebanon, they will find a way to keep the rest of the country disenfranchised and try to rebuild. You think people will oppose a peace deal in Lebanon? After 7 years of crisis and 2 decades of political disenfranchisement, if a peace deal avoids turning Lebanon into North Korea, then most people will let it happen and move on because they want to live normal lives, including "the Shia" who have no other way to go back home. "Israel are genociders." So you want us to die fighting them when even Hezb is barely putting a dent now? No fuck you, we're not suicidal. Treat people here like human beings with aspirations other than a constant state of war against a universal evil or whatever. "You're just cucked goycattle." Ok thanks for the insults, what are we supposed to do with them? Why should we care about your respect? At what bank do we cash it out? "TL;DR" Good, doomscroll ahead. Now stop bitching and projecting without taking all of these facts into consideration. K bye.

Candace just responded after I exposed Joe Kent for being the one to leak the viral screenshots to her. In classic Candace fashion, she accidentally admitted an even more shocking truth! Not only had they not known each other before. Joe Kent, while acting as the head of counterterrorism, actively sought her out to push the narrative that Israel was behind Charlie Kirk’s murder. She tried to deflect by highlighting “the texts weren’t sent with the goal of insinuating Erika Kirk”. Of course they weren’t! They were sent to insinuate Israel, which is the entire grift for these clickbait seeking conspiracy theory pushers like Joe, Candace, and Tucker. I wish I could say I’m surprised. The IDF has diverted an infantry battalion that was intended to be deployed to Lebanon to the West Bank amid a spate of attacks by settlers against Palestinians. The battalion from the School for Infantry Corps Professions and Squad Commanders was sent to the West Bank yesterday, and the military says it may send more troops due to the uptick in violence by Israelis against Palestinians.

This team was perfect. This is not about basketball. This is about greatness. Far from perfect in practice and far from perfect in games - but this team was perfect in all the ways that actually mattered. The fact that they were pretty damn good on the court too? Awesome, but secondary. Yes, in their minds too. This core group spent almost three of their four years with what many would consider a burden, but what they considered a privilege. This group played more than basketball. They represented a people and a nation under attack. And they did that perfectly. They also set the stage for this program as it moves into the future – on and off the court. They raised our level in ways that we wish nobody ever has to do again. I always love to talk about how much I learn each year from the teams I have the privilege to coach and work with. These last few years have changed many of our lives – for sure mine. To watch the resiliency, confidence and courage these student-athletes exemplified was awe-inspiring. Different backgrounds, different observance levels, different beliefs – one brotherhood. In all my years, I don’t know that I have had a group of guys this invested in each other and their people. The shift of our focus as a program from sport to humanity somehow made us better at basketball too. These guys defined playing for a purpose. The difference is the purpose was bigger than just the sport itself. You want to win? Everyone does. You work hard? Everyone works hard. What separates you on and off the court is your “why”. We found our program “why” thanks to this special group, and we will never forget it. Thanks @maxzakheim, Zevi, Roy, Dothan, Hillel, Tom, @arishklyar12, Or - for teaching me how to lead with confidence and perspective. Our future success will be yours as well.

The most insightful, honest, and fascinating explanation from a player I have ever gotten on what went into his decision-making on a game-ending, potentially game-winning shot. It's not what you are expecting ... trust me. #d3hoops #Hoopsville #WhyD3
Samuel Rosenblatt@Rosenblades

Zevi Samet explains to @d3hoopsville the logic behind his final 30ft shot with 8 secs to go in a tie game: Once you model the possession using advanced clock-management theory, defensive geometry, and expected value of offensive rebounds based on projected angles, the early pull-up becomes the clear play. Jk… But his answer is even more impressive/instructive. #d3hoops

Everyone’s asking what Chabad actually is after Tucker Carlson’s recent comments Chabad was #1 trending on X this Thursday. My name is Yossi Farro, I’m 22, and I’ve been part of Chabad my entire life. I grew up in it, studied in Chabad institutions from New York to Los Angeles to Israel, and I’ve volunteered at Chabad centers across the world from Miami to Brazil to Colombia to Greece and many more countries. So let me tell you straight: Chabad (Chabad-Lubavitch) is a Hasidic Jewish movement founded over 200 years ago, focused on one thing spreading kindness, Jewish education, and helping every person connect to their heritage and to G-d, no matter who they are or where they’re from. We run Chabad Houses in over 100 countries thousands of centers that offer free meals, holiday events, classes, addiction recovery support, disaster relief, campus outreach, and a warm welcome to anyone in need. Jews, non-Jews, everyone. It’s about love for your fellow human being, acts of goodness (chesed), and making the world brighter one mitzvah at a time. The Rebbe (Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson) taught us to see the good in every person and to bring people closer through joy and positivity—not politics, not war, not destruction. The idea that Chabad is secretly pushing for some global conflict or holy war is completely baseless and the opposite of everything we stand for. We pray for peace, for the coming of Moshiach (the Messiah) through goodness and unity not through force. The Third Temple? In our teachings, it comes through divine means and worldwide moral improvement, not human schemes. If you’ve ever been welcomed at a Chabad House, gotten help during a tough time, or just enjoyed a Friday night meal somewhere random in the world that’s Chabad. Real people doing real good, quietly, every day. Happy to answer questions from anyone curious.

For context, in the Division III @CCIW_Athletics alone there are 24 MBB seniors this season who have played at just one place. There are certainly kids who transfer in and out of D3. But for the most part, when you pull up a D3 roster and click on a senior, you see 4 yrs worth of roster pics. Most great Division III programs rely on, 1) relentless, great high school recruiting, and 2) 4-year player development. The 2 pictured below (@Karlo_Colak from @IWUBasketball, @dominictrelenb1 from @elmhursthoops), who were star players this season on the teams that played in the league title game, barely saw the floor as freshmen. When your HS decision is based on a true combination of school and athletics (and not just athletics), you tend to stay. #whyd3

There are only 22 high-major scholarship players who will celebrate Senior Night this week, having played at just one place. Mississippi State's Shawn Jones Jr. is the only SEC senior to finish where he started. Dozens of coaching changes and the transfer portal have led to this
