Last year, EU Project r-LightBioCom identified recycled #aramid fibres (r-Aramid) as a sustainable fibre viable for project implementation.

In our new monthly series, we will introduce our partners in #automotive, #aeronautics, and #infrastructure sector, from 4 #EU nations & the UK. We will highlight their role in #HorizonEU project and share the value they bring to the world of high-performance #composites.

We participated in @HaDEA’s workshop on supporting EU industries with sustainable advanced materials to meet #GreenDeal targets. Project coordinator @aitex_es shared our innovation strategies to improve properties and reduce environmental impact of high-performance composites.

Our project partner @Hochschule_KL has successfully impregnated and fused cured #vitrimer particles within a hybrid non-woven for a (re)processible, mouldable, reshapable and #recyclable bio-composite! Fun fact: Vitrimers are #thermosets (re)processible like #thermoplastics. 💡

Our partner Coventry University (@covcampus) showcased @rLightBioCom at @repoxyble’s Open Innovation Workshop circularity and recyclability. ♻️⚗️ Congratulations to @repoxyble for their successful workshop, and many thanks the great opportunity to participate in it!

🎓r-LightBioCom connecting with school students! Project partner @Cidaut showcased r-LightBioCom to secondary school students at Lourdes School in Valladolid, Spain. The aim was to inspire and encourage young people, with a particular focus on girls, to pursue careers in #STEM.
