In my opinion the Chicago area has 3 elite courses; Chicago Golf Club, Old Elm and Shoreacres. I like to group courses into tiers and this is my top tier but if I had to rank them I’d probably keep them in the order listed.
I’m speaking ONLY of the actual golf course, nothing else, just 1 to 18.
Do you agree? What would be your top tier for the Chicago area?
I think Skokie and Bev are the top of the next tier.

@AmericanAir at it again, Flight 1634 landed but the gate isn’t ready so we sit. Get it together the flight was already delayed leaving and now we sit on arrival. Never an excuse to sit on arrival.

Saw A TON of incredible super fan outfits this weekend at Fanatics Fest, but Sarah from Buffalo dressed as a Bills fan jumping on a table was by far the most creative of them all! Excited for you to go to the Super Bowl , World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final, MLS Cup, WWE Wrestlemania and one of the biggest UFC Fights in the world! Mike Keiser and Sons, along with Tom Doak and Coore & Crenshaw, are breaking ground on Wild Spring Dunes. The routings are done!
This east Texas golf resort will feature the trademark Keiser amenities. Rooms, restaurants, the stay and play and never leave model. Think Bandon Dunes or Sand Valley in Texas.
The land is rolling and wooded, should provide a different look than the other Keiser properties.
As a Texan, this is a dream! Peak season will likely be spring and fall…will be interesting to see if they allow carts in the summer. Walking when it’s 110 and humid can be dangerous!
