It was a double celebration for our nursing teams at the @FamiliesFirstNI Healthcare and Key Worker Awards. Our Craigavon Area Hospital ICU staff scooped Nursing Team of the Year and our ICT district nursing team were Highly Commended in the same category. #teamSHSCT

Over 100 beds in our hospitals are regularly filled with patients who are fit to leave. An unnecessary or prolonged stay in hospital can be detrimental for a patient’s recovery. It’s vital that patients leave hospital within 48 hrs of being assessed medically fit for discharge.
