That reminds me of my elementary school days in the 80’s. I had a Casio Quartz ⌚️ with LCD display. With the @arduino Giga R1 and Giga Display Shield, that vintage memory lives on now. Of course, I made a few improvements, such as adding a DHT22 weather station. #maker

Finally found a perfect real-world application for my @arduino Opta ! After thinking for quite some time about how to best use this powerful and compact PLC. I’ve successfully automated a filtrate pump station at a wastewater treatment plant using just a few lines of C++ code.

@r_schulz_maker @arduino @pimoroni That is a good long-term result for a simple outdoor sensor node. The BME280 plus ESP32/Nano setup seems to have earned its keep. Did the OLED fail from moisture exposure, sunlight, or just long runtime?

One of my outdoor measuring units. The @arduino Nano #ESP32 with @pimoroni BME280 sensor has been working without any problems for years. It reliably sends data to the #arduino IoT cloud. Unfortunately, the SSD1306 OLED display needs to be replaced. #maker #programming #STEM
