January 5 1995, over the Mediterranean Sea. After the fall of DDR, MiG 29s were converted into NATO standards and used for training as an OPFOR of the NATO. These include avionics, GPS systems, and radar (only a few). F16s are from Sardinia, Decimomannu Airbase.

@Aktuelle_LSK Live ! I saw it with my own eyes and drove to the crash site. The MiG was lying belly-up in a field behind a small wood and was burning.

@Aktuelle_LSK Yes, you are right. I witnessed the crash live. It was in 1996 or 1997. I was then at the crash site in my neighboring village called Brudersdorf.

@r_schulz_maker All the MiG 29 G and GTs were transferred to JG 73 Steinhoff, one crashed, and one is inside the Gatow. Leaving only 22 out of 24 MiG 29s got transferred to Poland.

It all started with a @Raspberry_Pi Model B back in 2013. At the time, I just wanted to connect my old printer to an iPad Mini via AirPrint. I’m incredibly excited to see the results of my new projects and where this journey will take me next. #maker #python #coding
