A man confronted a foreign beggar at the Spanner Foot Bridge in Accra for allegedly begging at the location, but the situation turned tense after the beggar responded angrily in a language the man could not understand and insisted she would not go anywhere.
People blame individuals for crowding roads with shops and stalls, but the real issue is government failure. weak law enforcement, lack of affordable workspaces, and limited formal job opportunities which force people to use any available roadside space to survive.
