@michaelfow Could they use the sky router as essentially the gateway and connect their own router to the network, which routes through that?

Looking for some help from twitter. A friend has switched to Sky Broadband Fibre but wants to use their own router. Sky won't give out username/password for Fibre. Is there a way to capture / find out what the Sky Router uses to connect to fibre with?

@jsark983 @CrowdStrike It's a difficult one, as the basics aren't always that easy. Sure, exposing unpatched devices to the Internet with no mitigations is generally a bad idea, maybe the organisation doesn't have the expertise or knowledge to patch? Or the budget to hire security professionals.
