EDISON, LIONS LOCK DOWN RECORD-SETTING 110-103 WIN! Braedon Edison scored 25 points to lead 5 Multnomah players in double figures as the surging Lions secured their 15th win of the season, matching the most ever in their decade long NAIA era, beating Northwest 110-103 Sat night in Portland. It was the second night in a row the Lions exceeded the century mark in scoring, establishing a new high water mark for the season with 110 points. The win also set a team record as they collected their 11th win this year in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, an all-time high for a single season. The Lions have 4 games left in the regular season and are a lock to qualify for the CCC post-season tournament with still a chance to host a first round game in this the last ever season in their hoop history. Keilan Torkornoo added 20 points for the Lions, including nailing 4 consecutive 3's to close out the final 4 minutes of the first half. Noah McCord chipped in with 18 pts and Kadeem Nelson and Lareel Stewart had 17 and 10 pts. Nomah had their best shooting night of the year, hitting a blazing 63% of their shots. Multnomah (15-8/11-7) has 2 games next weekend at home and finishes with 2 final games on the road to conclude the regular season.
