🧵 Direction of TactiVal As I’m adding accounts + cloud saves to Board, this side project is starting to look like a real product. I’m very thankful for the response. I built these tools for fun and I didn’t expect people to really consider using it. 1/8

Idk if this will help with everyone issues with the game feeling 5 fps even if you have high fps. I just disabled this on the core isolation tab on your windows. If it doesn't work just reenable it again. But it helped with my issue.

Are you a #Valorant IGL or considering stepping up to the role? If you’re serious about leveling up, here are 5 MUST-KNOW tips to lead your team to success. (Tag an IGL who needs to see this!) 👇 1. Leading by example. When I asked IGLs I’ve worked with in the past what they thought the job of an IGL was, this was most commonly the answer that came to mind first for them. While it is one of the more surface level jobs, it is one of, if not THE MOST important one. Actions speak louder than words; if you talk the talk, you have to walk the walk. You have to be your team’s beacon of progress and of the team identity you and your team have set for one another. If you want your team to be resilient, you must be the “poster boy” for it. It may be hard, but trust me, if you lead the way, others will follow suit more often than not. 2. La Passion. A great IGL must have a deep passion for the game; obsession beats talent every time. If you are an IGL or thinking about becoming an IGL, most likely you already have that passion. We’re in esports, for God’s sake, and you want to go into the most challenging role within it?? Something’s clearly wrong with you, but that’s okay; we need to tune that passion into fire. The way you do that is by channeling it into streams where you can always improve. Watch VODs, watch podcasts, read books. Instead of spending hours in ranked all the time, take the time of one ranked match and turn it into a 40-minute VOD review instead. Maybe instead of watching Mr. Beast’s latest video of surviving with nothing but a packet of jellybeans, you should watch that documentary of a great leader. Sounds boring, but trust me, it pays off. Sharpen the sword, don’t dull it. 3. The L in IGL. This is a phrase I’ve found myself using a lot recently; essentially, it speaks to putting a lot more emphasis on the “Leader” part of “In-Game Leader.” This is especially important for T3, due to most teams not having a dedicated coach. Being someone players can look to and rely on is important, and if your team is serious about wanting to improve, they occasionally need someone to kick their asses and/or someone to sweet-talk them. Knowing the ins and outs of the players, getting to know the person behind the username, will only help your ability to work with them. By knowing what makes them tick and building a relationship with them, it will only aid in your ability to work with them in-game. 4. Self-Reflection “One step back, two steps forward” that’s a phrase I’m willing to bet almost every single one of you knows, and yet how many of you actually apply it? Failure is a part of growth; being afraid of failure is to be afraid of progress. Don’t hide from your past mistakes, learn from them! Ask your past/current teammates what they thought you did well and what you didn’t do well for them. Watch back that VOD, look at your calling that game with fresh eyes, and see if you would have maybe done things differently. If so, then how? Next time you make a mistake, instead of brushing it off, note it down and look back on it. Learn from it, sharpen that sword. 5. Putting your players first. One of the hardest pills to swallow as an IGL is that the majority of the time, you must be the sacrificial lamb. A good IGL doesn’t hesitate to put their team’s needs above their own comfort. If a player feels uncomfortable in that role and they don’t want to play it, move things around. If someone has to, pick it up yourself. I once heard a phrase, and I’m not sure where it’s from, if someone could tell me in the comments, that would be great, but it’s “the joy of leadership comes from seeing teammates shine.” A great example of this is Boaster. From an onlooker’s POV, when things get hard, Boaster falls into a fully supportive role, fully focused on his in-game calling and setting up his teammates. This can be obvious by going first in a fight to allow for an easy trade. Or what’s often missed is him locking fully into the mini-map and just helping out with calls, often resulting in him being caught out in smoke phase or getting “caught off guard'' all in the effort to further enable his amazing players around him. While this doesn’t mean you have to do that exactly, it just shows an example of what a great IGL does: puts the needs of others before themselves. Have some more tips to share or have some questions? Put them in the comments down below!!

When we formed Team Nemesis, our goal was to make it to the big stages. We didn't expect to get there in 3 months. Qualifying for The International '25 was an incredible achievement, but we were not prepared. (Thread 🧵)
