I never got a chance to see Morphine live, but caught you with Vapours at some Thursday night in Deventer, NL. I remember being impressed by how 'playful' your drumming was - a joy to see live, you really seemed to have fun 'being in the groove' together

I think GitHub might garbage-collect it after a while (see e.g. stackoverflow.com/questions/7907…), but I'm not sure if there's any way to trigger that as a user.

@bananafreak2u @cassidoo Also I wonder what the numbers on this are - I could well imagine retention numbers in that age bracket are actually better (or at least not worse), since young people might have a stronger tendency to go where the grass is greener when they get a chance?

@cassidoo My 63 yo Dad wasn't ready to retire but his 30 years of dev and wanting to work doesn't override that orgs think he's gonna retire in the next year. He was laid off and has gotten to many on sites but never hired.

My 55-year-old father-in-law has been trying to get a junior coding job for over 2 years and seeing him constantly get rejected for younger candidates at the last interview round is ageism in tech at its finest 😞
