@MissJLud Having read the below tweets it seems we might owe her a payrise!
English

@MissJLud Not identical but maybe transferrable. My mum pays a family friend £5 to walk the dog for a couple of hours.
No idea if that's the going rate but...
English

@adhd_ffs "I am on top of everything right now and everything is running on a reasonable timescale"
"No I didn't forget"
"I heard you the first time"
English

@HecticTeacher @lovepookiecat That's so sad for everyone; for you that your trust was broken and for the students who don't get to benefit from it anymore. No doubt thoughtless behaviour with big consequence that I entirely agree with
English

@lovepookiecat I was, especially as I only realised when I went to get myself a snack and it wasn't there. I will be speaking to the classes that were in there yesterday and the reward draw is no more.
English

@PGreenlees 5 ft 7, I have the opposite problem, especially sleeves
English

@downtownmauve @AskADHD And give the cloudy bit a rest. If I have to do it now I try to motivate myself with a reward, that and caffeine (if you drink it), caffeine helps my brain focus and push on a bit longer but then I need a few days to recover if I've had to push through 2/2
English

@rachabailey @AskADHD Idk what you just spoke out my brain, this is the exact burning sensation i experience that you termed into words. How do you deal/cope with it?
English

Does anyone with ADHD feel like their head is burning terribly, as if just a particular area of your brain has been set on fire and have lesions, especially more when you're trying hard to focus?

English

@downtownmauve @AskADHD I mostly try to be kind to myself, forcing through it just makes me frustrated and I make more mistakes. If I can I do a different type of task eg. something more focused, something creative etc. to engage a different part of my brain 1/?
English

@brassoteach Probably my clarinet but whilst I'm at a decent level, I don't think expert level would have come very easily to me. I think I reached my top level for my natural skill and personality
English

@rachabailey I know what I need to cover in those lessons but there are a couple where it is going to be very tight to cover the remainder of the content.
English

@HecticTeacher Haha I do as well! I'm known at work as the person with painkillers and it's 99% down to cologne 😂🙈
English

@rachabailey I always make sure to carry some with me these days 🤣
English

@HecticTeacher There was also a good amount of kölsch and food!
Deutsch

@HecticTeacher Yes that was entertaining! Although probably more for me as you were in pain
English

@HecticTeacher PS. You are awesome and you are one of my teaching role models. Our time in Cologne made a big impact on me and I cherish it as a friendship I really needed after my own bad experience in schools
