In the kind of trip you imagine when wrangling toddlers, the whole family is off to Paris to watch son 2 run the marathon on Sunday. Son 3 is arriving earlier, so he's booked in on a 3h cookery course "classic French sauces" which has had me laughing for days 😀

I am Halloweening tonight chez moi. I basically sit on the stairs for about an hour, jumping up to open the door to tiny cats and ghouls and then often my gorgeous year group from work swing past and it is LOVELY. I am armed with sweets

Inclusion? As a teacher, its always been vital to me that inclusion includes the quiet introvert students who behave well every single day. My classroom management will reflect this. Make sure their safety, security and needs aren't ignored. They are as important as anyone else.

@hannahfearn I swear no one ever comes through the front door without bringing a new addition with them. Just constant, constant stuff. Teen daughter and I are consumers through and through. Books, neon socks, tote bag, ooh a new lipbalm, have you seen this notebook from Tiger.. and on and on

Call me a historical hair pedant but I can never understand why so many 1970s period drama made zero effort to make their male actors' hair at least approximate to something of the time. One of the worst offenders was Little House on the Prairie - particularly Almanzo.

@DavidLloydUK My membership (including kids) was going up to almost £400 a month which is obviously obscene but apparently in the realms of what is allowed. It doesn't help that I have a conversation with a different person every time - shoddy customer service for a supposedly premium brand!

So bored of trying to cancel my @DavidLloydUK membership. Our mortgage going up by £700 a month (!) doesn't count as a big enough change in financial circs - it has to DOUBLE! Is this even legal?
