And so a New Year begins! What's the first show everyone has got booked or planning to see in 2024?

⭐ YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN - UPSTAIRS AT THE GATEHOUSE ⭐ Well this was just LOVELY 🥰 The musical brings to life the beloved characters of Charles M. Schulz Peanuts ✨ Even though the show is aimed at a younger audience, the nostalgia factor meant the adults in my audience, all seemed to enjoy it just as much 💖 The cast, Jordan Broatch, Millie Robins, Troy Yip, Jacob Cornish and Eleanor Fransch, are uniformally excellent, each wonderfully bringing to life their distinct characters 🌟 The stand out for me though, was Oliver Sidney as a sardonic and world-weary Snoopy. I was constantly chuckling at each sigh and random aside he would say lol Also his show-stopping number 'Suppertime' was hilarious 😅 The simple set & costume design by Ruby Boswell-Green and Holly Louise Chapman does the good job of recalling the iconic look of the comic strip 💖 The five-piece band also sounded great, lead by musical director Harry Style ✨ The new team at @GatehouseLondon have made a great start with this show and I'm looking forward to seeing what they produce in the new year! ! ! 😁 YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN is playing Upstairs At The Gatehouse, running until 14th January 2024 ✨ X x x
